Welcome to Happy Drools Grooming Studio. By booking an appointment or receiving services from us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Appointments & Cancellations:
- Appointments must be scheduled in advance.
- We require 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Cancellations with less than 24-hour notice or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service.
- Late arrivals of more than 15 minutes may require rescheduling and could incur a fee.
2. Pet Health & Safety
- Pets must be up to date on required vaccinations (including rabies). Proof may be requested.
- Please notify us of any medical conditions, allergies, sensitivities, or behavioral concerns prior to the appointment.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet for safety reasons (aggression, severe stress, illness, etc.).
- If your pet has fleas, we may require an immediate flea bath at an additional charge.
3. Grooming Process:
- Grooming times vary depending on coat condition, size, and behavior. We can't promise a time when the dog will be ready.
- While we strive for your preferred grooming style, pet comfort and safety always come first.
- If matting is present, we do not offer dematting services due to the stress and discomfort it can cause. Instead, we will:
a) Discuss alternative styling options to keep as much hair as possible, when safe, or
b) Recommend a shorter shave-down if necessary for your pet’s health and well-being.
- We are not liable for minor nicks, irritation, or stress reactions that can occur during grooming, especially with severely matted or distressed pets.
4. Behavior & Handling :
- For everyone’s safety, owners must inform us of any history of aggression or biting.
- A handling fee may apply for difficult or aggressive pets.
- If a pet is aggressive or unsafe to groom, the service may be stopped, and a fee for time spent may be cha
5. Payment
-Payment is due at the time of service.
- Prices vary based on pet size, coat condition, temperament, and service complexity. Over the phone quotes are not final until we see your pet in person.
- Additional fees may apply for: Matting , Tick and Fleas, Extra handling Express service.
6. Personal Items
- Collars, leashes, clothing, or accessories left behind will be held for pickup for a limited time.
- We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.
7. Photography & Social Media
- We may take photos or videos of your pet before, during, or after grooming for training or promotional purposes.
- If you prefer your pet not be photographed, please notify us in writing before the appointment.
8. Liability
Happy Drools Grooming Studio is not responsible for:
- Pre-existing conditions
- Undisclosed behavioral issues
- Allergic reactions to products
- Medical issues that arise during or after grooming .
In the event your pet requires veterinary care during or after grooming, you agree to be financially responsible.
9. Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction matters. If you have concerns about your pet’s groom, please contact us within 24 hours so we can address the issue. We do not offer refunds, but we will gladly make reasonable adjustments.
